ReWild Sacramento

A very healthy bunch is growing in front of one of our gardens where Star Thistle used to grow. Community volunteers labored many hours over many months removing invasives and sometimes it seems like the task will never be finished. Narrator: It won't until all invasives are out of the soil seedbank and none are close enough to sneak back in by wind, sneakers, rhizomes, or beaks. 

Thanks to our Community Action Grant from the City of Sacramento we have an easier way to water the plants at Sutter's Landing. The test went well and once we've added a cup holder and sun shade, the rig will be perfect!
