The McClaskey Adult school has closed and the beautiful native plant rain garden needs some love while Sacramento finds a buyer. The East Sac Preservation Society has permission to tend to the garden. ReWild Sacramento, and our volunteers, are joining with them to pull up a LOT of invasive Bermuda grass. You'll get a chance to get seeds from the native plants, like Coyote Mint and Deergrass. Save those seeds and plant them in a few months to add to your garden!
We'll have some tools and gloves but bring your favorite weeding tool. And bring some envelopes for seeds.
